Never make your girlfriend jealous in vain.

If you have a distant relationship, it’s quite a challenge for both of the participants. But sometimes you, guys, do everything to make your girlfriend jealous, I just can’t get why. Here are some tips not to make your girlfriend jealous in vain, or a short tutorial on thinking of the consequences for all your actions.

1). Never ever post your pics with other girls into any social net. Especially if your girlfriend knows that one of the women in the photo is attracted by you. Especially if she wears your clothes when you meet the sunset somewhere at your place! No, seriously. This is a true story! How can you be so irresponsible? No one says you must stop communicating with your friends-girls, but why should you let your jealous couple know about it one morning in the web?

Alpha and beta males in cinema.

Lately I have found out that psychologists divide male society on two types: alpha and beta males. What does it mean? The first type refers to a strong serious man who can be silent as well. He never fails because physically and socially he keeps under control and dominate the events. And of course he is damn handsome and sexually attractive. This type of men is a quintessence of masculinity and power. When they speak about alpha men Arnold Schwarzenegger and Bruce Willis appear in my imagination. They seem to be cool, at least the characters they perform. No fear, no panic, no blame. This type seems to be attractive but nowadays it is not that popular as in the 1990s when stereotypes concerning alpha male’s image were at the peak. So in cinema alpha males appear in such movies as Dirty Harry (1972), The Terminator (1984), The Matrix (1999), The Killer (1989), Apocalypse Now (1979), Goodfellas (1990), Fight Club (1999). Even though these movies are actual masterpieces I admire I wouldn’t say that the main characters are my heroes. To tell the truth I try to avoid people of similar traits in my life. They are not for me definitely.

China would never stop surprising me.

Before visiting China I surfed the Internet trying to learn as much as possible about the country, its traditions and customs. It seems like I knew everything about the country. But once I came across pretty interesting post devoted to the fake stores of famous and well known brands in the country. Well, to tell the truth I know that it is just OK for Chinese people to copy literally everything they are interested in and like. Fake Louis Vuitton or Valentino don’t surprise me due to my indifference to the world of fashion and fashion brands. I’m not a fashionist at all. But it seemed to be pretty outrageous of them to launch a fake Apple store. For me it is a little bit offensive as I adore and idolize Steve Jobs and everything he managed to create. I was just puzzled and confused by the fact.

So when I arrived in Xi’an I was pretty upset to find out fake Apple store in the city center. I was so angry with it really. And the worst thing in it is that it looks like an actual Apple store. I don’t know how but he managed to copy every single detail of authentic store. Even staff think that they are working for actual Apple store. I’m not kidding you! How dare they launched the production and store as well? I mean it is terrible and I wonder what’s the attitude of the officials of the Apple? What about intellectual property rights? Or maybe Chinese authorities have never heard about it?

British Pop Art.

Obviously you would be surprised but pop art originated initially in England not in in the USA as it is believed. And actually its ideological guru and father wasn’t Andy Warhol. It sounds pretty strange really but it is true. For me pop art and Andy Warhol as well as studio 54 and the Factory are inseparable terms. And I got acquainted with the world of pop art through the works of Andy Warhol. But the story is a little bit different. Thus movements of so called pop art appeared for the first time in England in the very beginning of the 1950s. This art movement and its principles became popular among artists who were members of the Independent Group that was established in 1952 in London. English artists were inspired by the art and artistic statements of Marcel Duchamp and Kurt Schwitters. Marcel Duchamp was a remarkable artist indeed who made the whole world change attitude to ordinary things and events. Thus once he exhibited his famous a urinal named Fountain. By the way this piece of art was chosen and admitted as “the most influential artwork of the 20th century”. I’m not a big fan of art of readymades but nevertheless his impact is invaluable. Thus Marcel Duchamp brought into a mainstream art of mundanity and daily routine. The same did pop artists in Great Britain and in the USA as well. And in this case it is just impossible to ignore Andy Warhol and one of his favorite American objects of daily life that is Campbell’s Soup. As for Kurt Schwitters then he was famous for his collages also known as Merz Pictures and they were exactly the objects that inspired pop artists in England as well in the USA.

Best Teenager Books by Laurie Halse Anderson

The most part of the adolescents is extremely difficult to understand. Their behavior generally seems to lack logic. Teens and young adults tend to make impulsive and spontaneous decisions and act according to their feelings more often than to to their sense. Ruled by emotions some adolescents may have difficulties in building and supporting normal relationship with their peers. Studying a psychology of a teenager will help his or her parents to develop positive relationship with their child without the misunderstanding which inevitably leads to the regular conflicts. Reading some fiction books sometimes can clear the situation up better than complicated articles explaining the peculiarities of the teenagers’ behavior. The following novels will reveal the implicit problems the students of a high school face quite often, but are likely to hide.

Man’s whims

The flow of time puts everything on its place. It had been decided long before the current age that men are strong and defending. They solve problems and take all the responsibilities for their families. But nevertheless, being so self-confident and stable, men, as any other human-beings, have the right for their own whims. So, let’s see what we have on the list of typical man’s follies;)

Tasty food. This is considered to be the main whim of our strong and brave. No matter what they say – they all love tasty food. The best woman for them is the one who can cook some interesting dishes and feed his appetite) But note, there’s no man who adores diet stuff. So, all those “green” salads and meat substitutes are not for them. All the food must be rich and nourishing.
